This website at https://rapidrework.com.au is operated by Melbourne Rapid Rework (ABN pending ASIC confirmation) of Ste 114/832 High St, Kew East VIC 3102 (we, us, our). By using the site you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the site.
1. Information only
The site describes our product rework, compliance labelling and contract packaging services. Its content is general information about what we do and how we receive cargo. It is not advice on your regulatory obligations under the Australian Consumer Law, the ACCC Country of Origin Labelling requirements, the Food Standards Code (FSANZ) or any retailer’s supplier standards. You remain responsible for the accuracy and legality of the labels, barcodes and materials you supply to us.
2. Quotes and requests
Submitting the triage form or calling our operations desk is a request for a quote. It does not create a contract, reserve floor capacity or guarantee a turnaround until we confirm the job in writing. Our stated 2-hour quote turnaround and 24/7 access are subject to the availability of our operations desk and to the Carrier SOP and cargo receiving terms below.
3. Carrier SOP and cargo receiving terms
The Carrier SOP & 24/7 Emergency Access Directives and the Mandatory Cargo Receiving & Liability Disclaimers published on this site form part of every request you submit and every consignment you or your nominated carrier deliver to our facility. They set out our 14-metre bay limits, the doors-facing-cabin loading rule, gate lockdown and after-hours booking, PPE requirements, our photographic triage audit, re-palletisation to CHEP/Loscam standards, and your warranty over client-supplied labels.
4. Facility limits
Our facility is registered as a Class 3 food premises for ambient, shelf-stable, pre-packaged dry goods and general retail stock. We do not accept temperature-controlled (cold chain) cargo, fresh food, or cargo under customs quarantine, federal biosecurity hold or Border Force lock. We do not design or print labels: all compliance labels, barcodes, overlays and packaging materials are supplied by the client. A request that does not meet these limits will be declined or, if discovered on arrival, rejected at the gate.
5. Australian Consumer Law
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy conferred by the Australian Consumer Law or any other law that cannot lawfully be excluded. To the extent permitted by law, and subject to those guarantees, our liability for a failure to comply with a consumer guarantee in relation to services is limited to supplying the services again or paying the cost of having them supplied again.
6. Liability for site content
We take reasonable care to keep the site accurate and available, but to the extent permitted by law we do not warrant that it is error-free, uninterrupted or free of harmful components, and we are not liable for loss arising from reliance on its content or from your inability to access it. Links to third-party sites (including the Google Business Profile map) are provided for convenience; we do not control or endorse their content.
7. Intellectual property
The Melbourne Rapid Rework name, the MRR logo, the text, layout and code of this site are owned by or licensed to us. You may view and print pages for the purpose of dealing with us. Any other reproduction, distribution or commercial use requires our written permission. Third-party trade marks (including CHEP, Loscam and retailer names) belong to their owners and are used only to describe compatibility and compliance.
8. Privacy
Personal information collected through the site is handled under our Privacy policy, which forms part of these terms.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. You submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria and the Commonwealth courts sitting in Victoria.
